XThe Idiot Colony Resource Pack has been created for teachers working on KS4 and KS5 Drama and Theatre Studies. It is also ideal for work on university modules on devising, and can be used by independent practitioners who want to explore RedCape Theatre’s approach to devising. All aspects of the Resource Pack are designed to be supported and developed through our workshop programme.
The Resource Pack contains:
- Background on RedCape Theatre and our training
- Background on The Idiot Colony including suggestions for music and sound effects in class
- RedCape Warm Up exercises
- 12 Lesson Plans to stand alone or be used in sequence to build up a substantial project based on the themes of The Idiot Colony
- Troubleshooting tips for students when they get stuck in their devising process
